A cycloidal gearbox, of course!

A gearbox is a mechanical component that trades speed for torque. In other words, it spins slower but with more force!

Gearboxes are used in vehicles, industrial machines, and robots.

Turning electricity into controlled movement — that’s the mission!

Party Ants

After walking up the steepest sidewalk I have ever seen, I arrived at the Runway AI Summit at The Masonic in San Francisco. The venue was unbelievable, and the speakers had a shared excitement for the transformative impact AI will have.

The future is definitely being made —perhaps even generated— at Runway.

I ate so much of the complimentary food that I think they lost money on my ticket. Sorry about that!

Happy Hour

After the event there was a happy hour to talk with fellow attendees and panelists. I was fortunate enough to speak with many brilliant people, including Stephen Welch from Welch Labs! I’m a massive fan of his show and would highly recommend it.

I also really appreciate how Anastasis (co-founder of Runway) stayed after to talk with anyone interested. Hopefully I’ll be speaking with him more in the future!

Good news, Mom!

I’m happy to report that I will be joining Entrepreneurs First on a fellowship! The mission is simple: build an enduring business as quickly as possible. I’m super excited and grateful for the opportunity.

When visiting EF I was astounded by the collection of brilliant, hard-working people. They moved with a strong sense of urgency, but also wouldn’t hesitate to stop working and help you with something. There was a palpable sense of community; a shared understanding that the universe is malleable, and that the people at 501 Folsom Street can put a dent in it!

I’m excited to join the team and share more details about the experience. If you’re interested in joining me on this journey, feel free to subscribe to the newsletter.
